Hello,

Is it possible to change the screen resolution of the Windows-Login (Disk Encryption) from 800x600 to anything else?

Thanks in advance,
Patrick

Hi Patrick,

On BIOS machines the default FDE Preboot resolution is 800x600 pixels, you can only lower it to 640x480 16 colors in the shift-shift menu (mainly for troubleshooting purposes.)

However, on UEFI machines the FDE Preboot will use the native resolution of the screen. So if you have a 1920x1200 native screen that resolution will also be used in FDE Preboot.

Best regards,
Jonas
