Have you any information regarding BSOD (Blue Screen of Death) from company’s who have Endpoint Checkpoint installed on their PC's.
We are having intermittent issues since using checkpoint.

Issues such as where users are getting the BSOD, the workaround is that we need to update the Graphics Card Drivers.

Another issue we are experiencing is that where users are getting performance issues where it takes so long to load the PC when booting up, the workaround is that we need to un-install Checkpoint and Re-install.

Any information you can provide will be useful and appreciative.

Hi Brian,
Which product version are you using, and which blades are installed on the endpoints?

How did you figured out that updating graphics driver will fix the issue?

Hi

We are using Version: E80.65(80.65.2516) - Virtual.

We checked some forums and others had similar issues, we found a quick fix, but seems to only work for a short time.

Since about one week we have also many blue screens on our clients with Endpoint Security 8064 installed.

Is there any official solution available?

Hello Adi,

we have following blades installed:

Compliance
Anti-Malware
Media Encryption
Firewall / Application Control
Full Disk Encryption
On mobile clients only: Remote Access VPN

Windows version is mainly Windows 7 Enterprise x64 SP1, on some clients Windows 10 Enterprise x64.
We have the issue on both operating systems.

Support ticket is already opened via our service partner Controlware since Thursday last week - but till now there is no reaction from Check Point.

Sorry - we do not have the case number from Check Point. The case was opened by our service partner Controlware.

At the moment it seems like a policy change is causing the bluescreens.

We had: Full Disk Encryption including boot and hidden partitions
Changed to: Full Disk Encryption excluding boot and hidden partitions

The Check Point Endpoint Client never decrypted boot partitions on the clients.

What is the right way to get this done (decrypt encrypted boot partitions)?
